Allie Rippe, MSN, APRN, CPNP-AC is a certified acute care nurse practitioner, practicing with the cardiac surgery team at Children's National Hospital. She received her BSN from the University of Virginia and spent several years working as a registered nurse in multiple pediatric cardiac ICUs, prior to earning her MSN from Duke University in 2018. Her practice now focuses on post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients in the acute care step-down setting. She has been actively involved in associations such as PCICS and PAC3, serving on program planning committees and presenting QI work. She has interest in process improvement in acute care setting as well as education of new nurses and NPs.
