Christy is the Lead Ambulatory Dietitian at Children’s National Hospital, where she supports a multidisciplinary team of registered dietitians providing outpatient nutrition care across general pediatrics and subspecialty clinics. She works closely with providers to integrate evidence-based nutrition into routine care and medical education.

Her prior experience includes private practice in weight management, nutrition services at a Federally Qualified Health Center, and pediatric gastroenterology care in a large academic medical system. These diverse roles inform her ongoing focus on health equity, family-centered care, and chronic disease prevention.

Christy recently completed advanced training in systematic reviews through the WHO/Cochrane/Cornell Summer Institute and is committed to advancing the evidence base for pediatric nutrition. She is also a strong advocate for expanding doctoral-level training for registered dietitians.
