Daniel Felten, MD, MPH
Dr. Felten is the Medical Director of the Children’s Health Center at Shepherd Park. He has been at Children’s National since 2012. Prior to moving the CNMC, He completed residency, was chief resident, and was a general pediatric attending at Rush University Medical center from 2004-2012. He completed my MD and MPH at Northwestern University Medical school between 2000 and 2004. His main interests have been quality improvement, resident and medical student teaching, and caring for Children with Medical Complexity. He is currently working on improving identification and diagnosis of children with autism in the primary care setting. He was an investigator in a multicenter, randomized-control, NIH-sponsored trial “Tympanostomy Tubes or Medical Management for Recurrent Acute Otitis Media” and has helped recruit subjects from the primary care site for many other research projects conducted at Children’s National Hospital. He was one of the Complex Care Program providers for many years and continues to care for many Children with Medical Complexity. He is dedicated to providing quality, equitable, and comprehensive care to all children.
