Children’s National Hospital Foundation

Tracy Lee joined Children's National in October 2019 as the Senior Director, Research & Innovation, responsible for collaborating with colleagues to raise funds for the Children's National Research Institute and the new Research & Innovation Campus. Tracy spent 25 years in higher education fundraising, most recently at the University of Maryland, College Park, as the Senior Director, Corporate Relations. Before Maryland, she served as the Associate Vice President for Development at George Mason University, and the Director of Foundation Relations at the University of Washington. In addition, she has served as the Vice President of Development at several area non-profits, including the Jane Goodall Institute and the National Children’s Museum. She holds a BA from Dickinson College, and an MBA in Non-Profit Management from SUNY-Binghamton. She has taught fundraising and grant writing through Seattle University and the University of Washington Staff Training Institute.
