Constance Trexler, RN, BSN, MSHS

Ms. Trexler is a certified pediatric nurse at Children's National Hospital. She currently serves as the Clinical Research Nurse Program Manager for the Goldberg Center for Community Pediatric Health in their Research Support Program. Her career at Children's National began as a clinical nurse manager, then transitioned to research with extensive involvement in HIV/AIDS research with the Adolescent Trials Network for HIV/AIDS Interventions (ATN). During her time with the ATN she served as the Chairman of the National Study Coordinator Group for five years and directed the Youth Advisory Program for six years.
Ms. Trexler completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Medical College of Virginia of the Virginia Commonwealth University and then completed her Master of Health Sciences degree with a concentration in Clinical and Translational Research from the George Washington University. Her research interests include HIV/AIDS, reproductive health rights, and transgender health. Her research expertise is in regulatory management and implementation of clinical trials.
