Eric Rosenthal, MD, MPH
Eric Rosenthal is Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics and of Health Policy and Management at George Washington University, and a Pediatrician in the Emergency Department at Children’s National Hospital. He formerly is Medical Director, Municipal and Regional Affairs, of the hospital’s Child Health Advocacy Institute, where he worked on foster care, child safety and vaccine issues. He remains an affiliate faculty member of the CHAI. In addition to his clinical duties in the emergency room, Eric is involved in medical education and mentoring. He also manages the ER’s medical scribe, documentation and coding programs.
Eric has a bachelor’s degree from Haverford College and Medical and Master of Public Health degrees from George Washington University. He served as Political Director of the Human Rights Campaign for ten years before going to medical school.
