Learning objectives:
- The learner will be able to describe and apply trauma and burn research to practice; Update and implement trauma and burn guidelines with updated literature
- The learner will be able to identify opportunities for improvement in care and apply current guidelines and standards of care to meet patient needs; Identify areas of service weakness and implement strategies for improving trends identified through the PIPS process
- The learner will be able to describe the key components of concussion management, including recognition of signs and symptoms, initial assessment strategies, and evidence-based return-to-activity protocols.
