Dr. Kendi will discuss the epidemiology of injury, and it’s importance for anyone serving a pediatric population. She will share the work of Safe Kids Worldwide, which is an injury prevention focused non-profit which is under the umbrella of Children’s National Hospital. In addition, she will discuss basic injury prevention concepts which can be helpful in the clinical setting.
