  • Participants will be able to analyze how cultural identity, lived experience, and experiential commonality influence trust-building, emotional safety, and therapeutic engagement with justice-involved youth.

  • Participants will be able to assess how collaboration with courts, detention leadership, caregivers, and advisors with lived system experience enhances the continuity, cultural relevance, and long-term impact of behavioral health interventions for justice-involved youth.

  • Participants will be able to analyze how centering the lived context and perceptual lens of justice-involved youth informs the development of emotional intelligence skills and guides more precise, culturally grounded clinical interventions.
