Andrew Barnett, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Andrew P. Barnett, Ph.D. is a pediatric psychologist and scientist whose research focuses on optimizing HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) implementation and improving related health outcomes among adolescents and young adults. He is a psychologist in the HIV Prevention and Treatment Services program at Children's National Hospital and an assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral health and of pediatrics in the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Barnett received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the George Washington University and completed a predoctoral clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
