Dr. Andrea Hahn MD, MS, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Attending in Infectious Diseases at Children’s National Hospital/George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Hahn is board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and Clinical Pharmacology. Her research lab’s focus is understanding the impact of antimicrobial pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) during treatment of pulmonary exacerbations in persons with cystic fibrosis, specifically on changes within the airway microbiome. Her lab has studied impacts on microbial taxonomic diversity and functional diversity, including the impact of antimicrobial resistance.
