Anuja Bandyopadhyay, MBBS. MD

Dr. Bandyopadhyay is an associate professor in the department of clinical pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine. She is a board-certified pediatric pulmonologist and sleep physician with a strong interest in integrating advanced technology to facilitate personalized treatment of sleep disordered breathing. Clinically, she is interested in novel diagnostic methods and therapeutic outcomes of sleep disordered breathing in children. Her research work includes identifying neurodevelopmental outcomes of infant sleep apnea, exploring role of adjunct therapy in pediatric sleep apnea and leveraging use of EMR and polysomnographic data in machine learning models to predict adverse cardiovascular and neurocognitive outcomes.
Dr. Bandyopadhyay has served as the chair of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Sleep Medicine Committee, the co-chair of the pediatric gold standard panel of Sleep Inter-scorer Reliability (ISR) and she currently serves on the editorial board of Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine and serves as the director at large on the American Academy of Sleep Medicine Board of Directors.
