Jeffrey Peck
Jeffrey Peck, MD, is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Children’s National Hospital and an assistant professor at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. He attended Northwestern University for his undergraduate studies. He then obtained his medical degree at The Ohio State University and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training through Michigan State University at the McLaren-Flint hospital in Flint, Michigan. He did fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedics and spine deformity care at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas followed by completing fellowship training in hip preservation at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Dr. Peck specializes in hip preservation and pediatric orthopaedic care, with subspecialty interests in young adult and adolescent hip preservation care. He is trained in the use of several surgical techniques in treating patients, which include pelvic osteotomies such as the periacetabular osteotomy (PAO), hip arthroscopy, and surgical hip dislocation.
Dr. Peck is a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA) and ISHA - The Hip Preservation Society. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS). He has presented research nationally, published orthopaedic journal articles and authored orthopaedic textbook chapters.
