Dr. Solomon is board-certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Hospitalist, and Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine with Children’s National Medical Center. She practices at the main hospital campus in NW DC where she cares for admitted pediatric patients and at affiliated community hospitals where she provides care for newborns and families. She earned her Medical Degree at Baylor College of Medicine, Masters in Public Health at the University of Texas Health Science Center and completed her Residency at Children’s National.

Through over ten years in practice, she has dedicated her time to developing a patient centered, evidence based, high value care approach. She has extensive clinical experience in breastfeeding medicine in the neonatal period and during infant hospitalization. She is passionate about providing parents and infants with a positive, supported breastfeeding experience via a holistic, dyadic-care approach. She is passionate about improving breastfeeding outcomes, supporting families, and addressing complex lactation challenges and providing comprehensive mother-infant support from the prenatal period through cessation of lactation.
