Jennifer Dorr, DO, MPH
Dr. Dorr is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Children’s National and an assistant professor of psychiatry, behavioral sciences, and pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She graduated child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Children’s National in June, 2022, and since that time has been pioneering a new position at Children’s National, which is the integration of psychiatry and neuro-oncology.
Dr. Dorr received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology degree from the George Washington University. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Cooper University Hospital and received pediatrics training at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. During fellowship, Dr. Dorr served as the inpatient and education chief fellow at Children’s National. She has received several awards, including the Area 3 Resident Fellow Merit Award from the American Psychiatric Association, and the Advocacy and Leadership Award from Children’s National. She serves on several local, regional, and national psychiatric committees for early career psychiatrists and advocacy, including AACAP’s national advocacy committee-and has presented nationally and internationally at both American Psychiatric Association’s and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry’s conferences.
