Laura earned her degree in Human and Family Development from Brigham Young University and completed her child life internship here at Children’s National.  She was hired shortly after and has now been a Certified Child Life Specialist in the surgery department for the past six years. Throughout her career, she’s come to love working with patients on the spectrum and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
