Dr. Heena Pranav is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Texas Children's Hospital. A Dallas native, she completed her residency at the University of Chicago before returning to Texas for fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital, where she stayed on as faculty. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Anesthesia at one of the community campuses and is the Director of Education. Passionate about teaching, she is also the Regional Anesthesia Site Director for the residency program, where she focuses on hands-on training and improving resident education.

Outside of work, Heena stays busy keeping up with her two kids, ages three and six. When she’s not in the OR or teaching, she enjoys exploring new restaurants or traveling.
